Tropical Storm Ike turned into Hurricane Ike overnight. A category 4 hurricane to be exact! If this formation keeps up, it will cause some serious devastation. It appears to be on a similar path as Hanna, so the Bahamas and the eastern coast of the US are in line for these systems. Josephine is still out there as a tropical storm as well, but looks to remain calm like Hanna.
I am really hoping that if things do progress, that people evacuate and listen to the warnings as they should. Some things can't be helped, but others can.
Praying that those in the areas mentioned are smart about the hurricanes and hoping they just present themselves as rain and wind without the serious devastation.
