Veteran's Day

Today is a day of remembering.

Remembering those who have fought for our country's freedom and died.

Remembering those who fought and came home scarred and broken.

Remembering those still fighting for our country's freedom today.

Today is Veteran's Day. I am willing to bet you know at least one person in the military, past or present. Make sure you tell them you appreciate all they do. Make sure you hug them. Make sure you honor them.

Happy Veteran's Day to my stepbrother Donald, member of the Air Force.

This post dedicated to my Uncle Mitch, who survived the Marines shortly after Vietnam, but could not overcome cancer. And to my great Uncle Greg, who died while in service in Vietnam.
